Middle School (5–9)

Mentoring Program

Woodhaven School is looking for help!  Our In School Mentoring Program is an easy and rewarding way to get involved with a child in your community!  It allows volunteer mentors to share time with a child in their school during the school-day.  For one hour a week – during the school year – Mentors meet with their Mentees following the 20-20-20 rule: 20 minutes of relationship building, 20 minutes of school work and academic support, and 20 minutes of free time.  Matches do not meet over the summer break or during other school holidays.  No special skills required...just the desire to be there for a kid.  To learn more and apply, visit http://bgcbigs.ca/BigsInSchool/ Thank you for your support!
