November 15, 2017 Announcements

Congratulations to our Pack Pride winners in grade 5, 6 & 7 from last weeks draw the winners are:  Grade 5 - Parker S, Grade 6 - Grady W, Grade 7 - Joshua M.  Winners can come claim their prizes at the office at morning break or lunch today.  There will be another draw for grades 5-7 this Friday.


If any students have Wilhauk beef jerky fundraising forms with them please bring them down to the office immediately following announcements. All forms and orders are due today. No late orders can be accepted.


Noontime Hockey League begins today. Schedule is posted on the bulletin board.  There will be meeting for all team captains at morning break in the foods lab.


SWAT Team will be meeting in the den during the second half of lunch.


Basketball season is coming. There will be an open gym basketball workout tomorrow after school (Thursday) 3:30-4:30 pm for all interested grade 7, 8 & 9 students.  


Movember fact of the day: According to Guinness World Records, the longest moustache spans 14 feet long. Mr. Chan you have a long way “to grow”.


MCP students - Chapel today will be in your family groupings. Please head over to your groups this morning.


Tomorrow, November 16 will be Children's Grief Awareness Day. To show our support for this National Initiative we are asking students and staff to wear blue to show support for grieving children. The City of Edmonton began this campaign by lighting up the High Level Bridge on In blue last night to recognize this event. If you are grieving and would like to talk to someone please reach out to an adult, you trust.


Congratulations to the Spruce Grove Pee Wee Cougars for winning the Tier 1 Provincial Championship in Calgary this weekend and on an undefeated season.  Thank you to Ms. Foster for coming and cheering with the fans and bringing the boys good luck.
